President Trump revealed on Tuesday that Israel has agreed to the conditions of a 60-day cease-fire with Hamas as the proposal now heads to the terrorist group.

“My Representatives had a long and productive meeting with the Israelis today on Gaza. Israel has agreed to the necessary conditions to finalize the 60 Day CEASEFIRE, during which time we will work with all parties to end the War,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.

“The Qataris and Egyptians, who have worked very hard to help bring Peace, will deliver this final proposal. I hope, for the good of the Middle East, that Hamas takes this Deal, because it will not get better — IT WILL ONLY GET WORSE,” the president concluded.

Negotiations for the newly proposed cease-fire have been ongoing for months — with Hamas presenting a “totally unacceptable” counter-offer to the US-backed and Israel approved proposal back in May.

Hamas had demanded that Israel consider a permanent cease-fire and the total withdrawal of Israeli troops from Gaza after the terror group released the remaining 10 living hostages and the bodies of 18 dead captives.

Those conditions were swiftly shot down by Trump’s Special Envoy to the Middle East Steve Witkoff.

Earlier Tuesday, the commander in chief stated that he was hoping to sign the cease-fire deal “sometime next week” — touting his administration’s success in negotiating a cease-fire between Israel and Iran.

Last week, Israel issued a new wave of evacuation orders in northern Gaza, indicating they were gearing up for another offensive against Hamas in the decimated territory.

Details of the current cease-fire proposal have yet to emerge.

Israel has been at war with Hamas since the terrorist group attacked the Jewish state on Oct. 7, 2023.

Concerned parties have been working to effect a new armistice since the last cease-fire in Gaza which was in effect from January 19 to March 18 of this year.

The framework of that agreement saw the two warring factions put down their weapons for a two-phased cease-fire that included the exchange of hostages after 15-months of war.
