After the memorial service for Charlie Kirk, Turning Point USA has announced that the nonprofit has gotten over 120,000 inquiries into starting new chapters at high schools and colleges. The memorial service was widely broadcast to millions around the country and 200,000 people were in attendance.

Andrew Kolvet, close friend to Charlie Kirk and spokesman for Turning Point USA wrote on X, "HUGE UPDATE — After Sunday's memorial for Charlie, TPUSA received a massive surge of inquiries to start new chapters. Pre-Sunday: We had around 60,000 inquiries Post-Sunday: We are now at over 120,000 inquiries Even accounting for attrition and duplicates, we are on the cusp of having a TPUSA or Club America chapter in every HS and College campus in America."

The announcement from Kolvet comes after there was an initial surge in inquires for new chapters that took place after the assassination. TPUSA was founded by Kirk as well as Bill Montgomery, and centers on the effort to "identify, educate, train, and organize students to promote the principles of fiscal responsibility, free markets, and limited government."

The organization, which started in 2012, has grown by leaps and bounds since, and has been one of the largest forces in the conservative movement. When Kirk was assassinated, he was doing what he was known for: going to college campuses and engaging with students in debate and discourse.

TPUSA has vowed to continue Kirk’s “American Comeback Tour” after his assassination. The first event that was held since September 10 took place on Monday night, where the Daily Wire’s Michael Knowles spoke at the University of Minnesota. Knowles was originally slated to have a discussion with Kirk but instead addressed Kirk's legacy and life.
