Lil Nas X Charged with 4 Felonies — Including Assaulting Cops

Rapper Lil Nas X has pleaded not guilty to four felony charges which include attacking cops - but could face years in prison if convicted.

Nas, 26, denies the charges relating to last week's episode when he was scooped up roaming naked around the streets of Los Angeles, suspected off his face on drugs.

The rapper allegedly charged at and assaulted cops after they were called to reports of a man wandering around in the buff on Ventura Boulevar, reports TMZ citing police.

He faces three charges for battery with injury on a police officer and one of resisting an executive officer.

Nas was held without bail over the weekend and appeared before a judge on Monday morning.

He entered a not guilty plea later on Monday and his bail was set at $75,000 by a LA judge.

When cops cuffed him on Thursday morning, they believed he was high on drugs so took him to a hospital before transferring him to jail.

Footage shortly before the arrest shows him acting erratically outside a West Hollywood hotel.

The music star was strutting around in cowboy boots and budgie smugglers, but later completely de-robed, according to footage obtained by TMZ.

A witness claimed they heard Lil Nas X talking about a party at around 4am on Thursday morning.

"Don't be late to the party," he told a driver passing by.

Lil Nas X was asked about the location of the supposed shindig, to which he replied "You know where it's at."

He then urged the driver to move away from him.

"Didn't I tell you to put the phone down?" Lil Nas X said.

And, the singer reportedly put an orange traffic cone on his head, per TMZ.

Cops were called a short time later at around 5:30am.

Witnesses in Studio City reported to cops they had seen a naked man.

Officers swooped on the scene and put Lil Nas X in handcuffs on suspicion of battery - before he was taken to the hospital over overdose fears.

He was being held in Van Nuys' Valley Jail.

The rapper is expected to release his much-anticipated second studio album Dreamboy later this year, teasing his new music on Instagram ahead of the drop.
