The feds have widened their investigation into the assassination of Charlie Kirk to probe whether pro-trans, online groups and others connected with Tyler Robinson knew in advance about the plan to kill the MAGA influencer, the NYPost has reported.

Law enforcement sources said that investigators are examining leftist groups both in Utah and online to figure out if they helped him with the shooting — or at least heard it was going to happen.

The probe includes groups in online gaming community Steam, as well as a pro-trans organization called Armed Queers SLC, which took down their Instagram after Kirk was killed, the source confirmed.

Meanwhile, a slew of disturbing — though as yet unverified — social media posts about Kirk are raising questions about whether some people online may have known about the assassination before it happened on Sept. 10.

Taken together, they leave a trail of breadcrumbs for investigators who are trying to determine whether Robinson acted all on his own, or had accomplices.

Utah group Armed Queens SLC, whose logo features two high-powered rifle rounds similar to the one that struck Kirk, hosted a lecture on “queer resistance” at the University of Utah in September, 2023 — around 45 miles from Utah Valley University where the 31-year-old Turning Point USA founder and Trump ally lost his life.

Flyers promoting the event hosted in partnership with self-described “leftist student organization” Mecha de U of U obtained by Young America’s Foundation feature a young woman clad in two ammo belts and clutching an AK-47, with her finger on the trigger.

The flyer includes a prominent hammer and sickle, as well as a rainbow flag, and includes the words “agitate, educate, organize.”

In an interview with Voyage Utah last year, a representative for Armed Queers SLC said in response to a question about risk-taking, “Our commitment to something much bigger than ourselves, to people’s struggles against racism, transphobia, and capitalism, means much more to us than any risk.”

Details have emerged in recent days that point to Robinson being radicalized by far-left politics and a pernicious fringe internet culture.

He was also in a relationship with a live-in boyfriend who was transitioning from male to female, a law enforcement source told The Post on Saturday.

Utah Gov. Spencer Cox said on CNN’s “State of the Union” Sunday that investigators are also looking into whether the relationship could have been a motive for the alleged shooter, noting the partner, Lance Twiggs, has been “incredibly cooperative” with authorities.

Twiggs, who has not been accused of any involvement in the crime, “had no idea this was happening and is working with investigators right now,” Cox told host Dana Bash.

Kirk, an outspoken critic of hot-button gender issues like hormone treatments for kids and trans females competing in girls’ and women’s sports, was shot in the neck as he answered an audience member’s question about the proliferation of mass shootings perpetrated by trans people.

“It’s very clear to us and to the investigators that this was a person who was deeply indoctrinated with leftist ideology,” Gov. Cox told the Wall Street Journal Saturday.

A source with knowledge of the investigation told the outlet Robinson’s views came to light following conversations with his family.

He was arrested Sept. 12 after a 33-hour multi-agency manhunt. “We have him,” President Trump proclaimed on Fox News’ “Fox & Friends” that morning, heralding the suspect’s capture.

Meanwhile, internet sleuths are sharing disturbing social media screenshots purporting to hint at prior knowledge of Kirk’s assassination from accounts that have since been deleted or made private.

One such post made on Sept. 9, the day before the shooting, said “Charlie kirk is coming to my college tomorrow i rlly hope someone evaporates him literally.”

The user followed it up moments later with the text “Lets just say something big will happen tomorrow” accompanying a meme of a grinning dog, an archive of the since-deleted post shows.

A few hours after the shooting the next day, the account followed up their original posts with “CHARLIE KIRK GOT SHOT BRO I PROMISE I DIDNT HSVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH IT” before apparently changing usernames, archives show (https://archive.is/KzswG).

Another widely-shared archived post (https://x.com/liz_churchill10/status/1965974611906146679) from a TikTok user appearing to be made a day before the shooting uses ominous music and a video of a person wearing glasses and what appears to be a medical scrubs cap accompanied by the disturbing text, “charles james kirk. mr. college dropout does NOT know what’s coming tomorrow. be ready… This isn’t a threat it’s a promise.”

The video was captioned “it’s a BADDD day to be charlie [tomorrow] #uvu #charliekirk #liberal #debate #fyp.”
