Blackstone Executive Killed in NYC Shooting

The financial services firm Blackstone said Tuesday that an executive who worked in the Midtown Manhattan building in which four people were fatally shot the previous evening by a gunman is among those who died.

The executive has been identified as Wesley LePatner. She was shot in the lobby of a Park Avenue building Monday evening by gunman Shane Tamura, 27, of Las Vegas, according a statement by the firm obtained by news agencies.

A Blackstone executive was among the four people shot and killed by the crazed gunman who shot up a Midtown office building, the company confirmed Tuesday.

Parker was a senior managing director on the firm's real estate team and a mom of two, sources told The New York Post.
