Leaked Chats: DC Shooter Called for ‘Genocide of White People’

Elias Rodriguez, the accused in Wednesday’s deadly shooting near the Capital Jewish Museum, allegedly suggested a white genocide in leaked chats obtained by a left-wing journalist.

The U.S. Department of Justice charged Rodriguez on Thursday with shooting and killing two Israeli embassy staff members. He expressed a number of alarmingly anti-Western sentiments, according to messages in a group chat journalist Ken Klippenstein alleges one of Rodriguez’s friends leaked to him.

“Lol you probably would have to actually genocide white people to make this a normal country,” Rodriguez wrote in one message, according to Klippenstein. “Like even a very targeted and selective rehabilitation program would probably have to lead to the lifetime imprisonments of tens of millions of white people.”

Rodriguez also allegedly often messaged friends about his hatred for Israel and his love for Hamas.

“Love checking back in with the news every few hours like, ‘Hm I wonder if Israel still exists?’” he wrote, Klippenstein claimed. “You don’t often get to credibly wonder if Israel is over yet today or not.”

“He was a big proponent of ‘the emerging resistance axis’ of Russia, Iran, Hezbollah, Assad’s Syria,” Klippenstein claimed a friend told him.

Rodriguez was also allegedly a longtime, vocal supporter of Hamas.

“He’d always hated Israel and would call it ‘The Little Satan,'” the friend said, according to Klippenstein.

Other disturbing messages allegedly included Rodriguez encouraging a friend to “dispose of” a family member with schizophrenia.

“Can you just chain him in the basement and slide meals under the door?”” Rodriguez asked, according to a screenshot posted by Klippenstein.

“I’m just tired of hearing about this guy … He’s useless, we get it. Stop complaining and just dispose of him,” he also allegedly wrote.
