Khamenei Warns Trump: Iran Will 'Never Surrender'

Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei warned that any U.S. military intervention amid the ongoing Iran–Israel conflict would bring "irreversible repercussions," declaring that Iran "cannot surrender" under external pressure. President Donald Trump has threatened Iran with demands for "UNCONDITIONAL SURRENDER," asserting that Washington "knows where Khamenei is hiding" and weighing whether to join Israeli operations against Tehran.

Khamenei's televised address rejected surrender and warned that any military intervention would provoke an irreparable response, reinforcing Iran's stance of steadfast resistance amid escalating regional tensions.

The Iran–Israel conflict has escalated since last week, with mounting casualties and destruction. While President Trump initially said the U.S. military was not involved, his recent statements suggest he may join Israeli strikes, raising concerns about a wider war. Khamenei's role as Iran's Supreme Leader has been crucial in rallying national resistance, framing the conflict as a test of Iran's resolve with dire warnings for U.S. intervention.

Meanwhile, oil prices have surged amid fears of disruptions to key shipping routes such as the Strait of Hormuz in the Persian Gulf, highlighting the broader geopolitical and economic risks as diplomatic efforts strive to prevent direct U.S.–Iran confrontation.

In a nationally broadcast address, Khamenei declared, "Iran's people are not to be surrendered," emphasizing, "the Americans must know that any military entry will undoubtedly be met with irreversible repercussions." He praised Iranians for their "calm, courageous, and timely" response to recent Israeli attacks, calling it a testament to the nation's growth, wisdom, and spirituality.

Khamenei reiterated, "War is met with war, bombing with bombing, and strike with strike," and warned the U.S. to reconsider any intervention, stressing that Iran would retaliate fiercely. "Intelligent people who know Iran, its people, and its history never speak to this nation in the language of threats, because Iranians cannot surrender," he added.

Trump's Threat

Meanwhile, President Donald Trump has demanded an "UNCONDITIONAL SURRENDER" from Iran, signaling a hardline stance amid the escalating conflict. He publicly stated that the U.S. knows the exact location of Khamenei but has deliberately chosen not to strike him—"for now." This warning underscores Trump's growing impatience with Tehran and hints at the possibility of targeted actions should diplomatic pressures fail, further raising tensions in an already volatile region.

Ongoing Conflict

The conflict began with Israel's Operation Rising Lion, targeting Iran's nuclear and military sites in cities like Tehran and Natanz. In response, Iran launched Operation True Promise III, firing ballistic missiles, hypersonic weapons, and drones at Israeli targets. These exchanges have resulted in significant civilian casualties, with Iranian officials reporting over 585 dead and more than 1,300 injured, including 239 civilians. In Israel, 24 civilian fatalities have been confirmed.

What People Are Saying

Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Supreme Leader of Iran: "We warn America of the consequences of engaging in war, because it will suffer severe damage if it decides to do so. War is met with war, bombing with bombing, and strike with strike."

President Donald Trump: "We know exactly where he [Khamenei] is. We don't want to kill him—for now."

President Trump is expected to convene with his national security team to decide whether to expand U.S. involvement alongside Israel or intensify diplomatic efforts for a nuclear deal. Meanwhile, both Iran and Israel remain engaged in exchanges of fire, and the region braces for potential further escalation if negotiations fail.
