Israel Halts Aid Into Gaza After Hamas Refuses to Extend Ceasefire Deal

Israel has stopped humanitarian aid and goods from entering the Gaza Strip on Sunday and after Hamas declined to extend the first phase of the ceasefire deal, which expired on Saturday.
President Donald Trump's envoy, Steve Witkof, had proposed a temporary extension of the ceasefire deal.
Israel issued a warning to Hamas.
“Prime Minister Netanyahu has decided that, as of this morning, all entry of goods and supplies into the Gaza Strip will cease,” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office said in a statement.
“If Hamas continues its refusal, there will be further consequences.”
The U.S. is ending the Biden administration's partial arms embargo and speeding up about $4 billion in military aid to Israel.
